Service Opportunities
RCC has multiple opportunities to get involved with more than just coming to church on Sunday. We have small groups and weekly events that we would love for you to help out with. This is chance to grow in your walk and serve not only in church but in the community as well.
Examples of serving that can happen on a Sunday morning... filling communion cups, setting our bagels and donuts for between Sunday services, and getting on your knees with preschoolers and singing a song are just some examples of how you can help.
Other Non-Sunday morning opportunities include St Anne's, Ogden Rescue Mission, Helping Hands, and the Pregnancy Care Center.
Discipleship
Disciple (n) one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of Christ
The mission of Roy Christian Church is to "edify," or"build up" God's people and prepare them to go out to the community to share the gospel.
Christ calls us to be His "disciples," a word that means "follower" or "student." We are constantly working on ways to improve the programs and events we offer at RCC to help people move from being just part of the crowd to being a committed member of the core. We are striving to find ways to reach out into our community with the love of Jesus. Sometimes it is through a service project or a fun event, either way we are making connections to those that we hope will last.
Outreach

Want to know how to get involved? Help the church, help the people of the church, or help the community. We have lots of opportunities for that. We serve in bread lines, make mats for homeless people, blankets for verterans, and much more.
In the Great Commission, Jesus calls every Christian to step out in faith and spread the Good News. This is faith in action! People who obey this command change their spiritual lives forever! It could be spreading the Good News to a neighbor or moving to another country to reach the people there. It could be sharing with less fortunate kids down the street or spreading the Word in a town two hours away. Wherever we go, every faithful Christian is compelled through obedience to share the Gospel. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ, where has He called you to go? Who has God put on your heart to share the gift of salvation? What small or large steps can you take, with the knowledge that Christ will be by your side, "to make disciples of all the nations"? In addition to reaching out to the community to ensure they know that Roy Christian Church is a part of the local community, but also helps the church members make visitors and new members feel welcome. The ultimate goal is to show the church members the joy of sharing Christ with others.
Our Outreach Committee is meant to help our members reach out, to their friends or friends they have not met yet. We provide tools, events, and encouragement. We strive to offer service opportunities where we can connect with others in our community, and work with our other ministry's to meet needs wherever we can.
RCC also runs a homeless outreach on the first Monday of every month in which they serve local homeless populations through creating 'goodie bags' that include non-perishables and hygenic items. Discussions regarding the Gospel on this outreach is commonplace.
Youth & Children
"Train a child up in the way of the Lord, and when he is old he will not depart from it." No matter the age of your kids...we have something for them...the love of Jesus and a safe fun place to learn more about how to experience it.
Youth Group
Middle and High School students meet every Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm. Dinner starts at 6:00, group starts at 6:30. Join us for worship and Bible lessons!
RCC Kids
Children's Church on Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Education Wing.
"Terrific Tuesdays" all summer long at area parks and splashpads.
And More!
We host a free, multiple-day "Vacation Bible School" for children up through Grade Five with lots of music, lessons, crafts, and games.
Our students go to Summer Camp at Intermountain Christian Camp in Fairfield, Idaho. Visit https://www.iccfairfield.com/
There are always other special events and outings through the year for kids of all ages.
