Dianne was born and raised in Utah. She has lived in California briefly, Washington State for 17 years, and then Utah again. In 1988, she was "born again" after studying and leaving the LDS church. Dianne joined RCC and volunteered in the RCC office and then became an employee soon after. The church and her job has started her on a path of living life again. Dianne lives and cares for her mother in Roy. Being a caregiver is a difficult job but one that the Lord has given her. 

 

Dianne has 2 sons. Kain is married to Jessica "Polk" Martin. Jessica just graduated as a Physician's Assistant and she is in the Navy where she and Kain are currently living in Japan. Dianne's son, Kao, is married to Noelle "Pettit" Martin. Kao is self-employed as a computer programmer and Noelle is is a program coordinator. They live in Syracuse. Dianne has a granddaughter, Emma, in California and an adopted daughter-in-law, Stephanie who is a professional photographer and is continuing her education.
