I'm new

Where should I park? As you enter the campus from 1900 West, look for the parking places designated for our guests. Enter the building through one of the main sets of doors (under the drive through) and one of our greeters will help point you in the right direction.

What programs are there for my kids? As you enter the building through the main doors, turn right and head downstairs to the "Grove" where we provide a secure environment for your birth through Kindergartner. We have a security check-in/out process and a paging system that allows you to attend worship without distractions. Our Nursery is staffed during both services for birth to 18 months. Toddler and Pre-K through Kindergarten have classes provided during both services. If you head upstairs, our 1st-6th graders have Sunday School classes during our 9:00 am service, and Children's Church  during the 10:30 am service.  Middle School & High School students have Sunday School downstairs in the office building at 9:00 am on Sundays and a midweek gathering in the same location at 6:00 pm on Wednesday nights.

What's the difference between the two services? Except for the type of music, nothing. If you grew up in church and enjoy hearing the beloved classic hymns played on an organ and piano, then the 9:00 service is the one you should visit. If you like your music a bit louder and more modern, then come join us with our band at 10:30.

Will I fit in? Come the way you are. Whether you feel comfortable in a suit and tie, polo and slacks, or jean shorts and flip flops, you will see someone just like you. We have people brand new to this whole thing and others who have been here their whole lives, so you will definitely not be alone.

What if I don't know what I am supposed to do in church? We don't have a bunch of rules or rituals you need to know you sit down when you want, stand up when you feel like it. You sing if you want to or just listen. If you want someone to talk to you, we have lots of friendly people or if you want to just slip in and out unnoticed that is fine too. We just hope that you will have an open heart and an open mind to what God might be saying to you through the music, the message, or the people.

What should I expect? Everyone is on a spiritual journey. You can expect a place that accepts you just the way you are right now. We will try to help you find your "next step" that you need to take to continue on that journey. You can expect to hear something funny, encouraging, or enlightening.

What if I have more questions about the church? One of the best ways to learn more about the church is to attend a newcomers luncheon (click here to register) hosted by the pastors each month on the first Sunday right after second service in the fellowship hall. Also, one of the pastors is available in the foyer after every service. If you need answers to a question in a more private setting, please don't hesitate to call the church office and schedule a visit with pastor James or pastor Brent. They would love to get to know you better!
